Handmade Card: Christmas Peace…

Handmade Card with a vintage, victorian feel for Christmas cardmaking. Lots of pretty flowers and I love the musical note paper in the background.

Happy Monday to each of you!  Here I am popping in super fast again today.  Still working on my ever-growing to-do list; which hopefully will be a little forgiving by later this week.  I’ve literally been online just to do blog posts and then I’m off and running again.  I’m looking forward to a quieter day by this weekend where I can surf to my heart’s content. LOL  I’ve missed it!

For today’s post, I have a gorgeous new release stamp from I Brake for Stamps called Christmas Collage.  You can order the full set of 4 or they can be purchased individually. The card measures 5″ x 5″.  I did some fussy cutting  for the word “Peace” and also the bird and holly branches.

The gorgeous flowers and half-backed pearls are from Wild Orchid Crafts (LOVE THEM!), and the vintage seam binding is from Christopher Pines on etsy.  The little pine leaves are from a Martha Stewart punch.

If you’d like to order this stamp, please feel free to save 10% off of your entire order by using my coupon code: SAVE10ROBYN  Enjoy! :c)

That’s it for me for today.  I hope you all have a wonderful, amazing day!  (((Hugs)))

Candy Cane Story…

This sweet little tag would make a great addition to your Christmas gift packaging. I’ve used the  Legend of the Candy Cane Story stamp  and attached it to the  Top Note tag.

Hellooooo Ladies! I am finally able to post! It’s just been absolutely crazy-busy with school and life that I haven’t been able to get away to post or even get online for that matter. I apologize for that. Thanks for stopping by today, I always appreciate it.

So today I have a sweet little project to share with you that I created using the Legend of the Candy Cane stamp from I Brake for Stamps.  I really love the saying on it.  The stamp itself is a nice size so it works perfect for tags or cards.  I’m sure I’ll be getting a lot of use out of it this Christmas season.

If you would like to order this stamp, please feel free to use my discount code: SAVE10ROBYN to save yourself 10%. :c)

Thank you for stopping by today.  I truly appreciate it and hope you have a truly wonderful weekend.  I know I am behind on my e-mails.  I hope to get caught up this weekend.  Thank you so much for your patience.   You are very special! xx

Keepin’ the Postie Happy…

Handmade Christmas card that I embossed and then watercolored.  It makes a nice flat mail-friendly card.  The backing paper is Brushed Gold Stampin’ Up! card stock that is super shimmery in person.

Hello Lovely Ladies,

I mentioned to you yesterday that my card share for today would be easy to mail and also easy to create a large number of.   Just tryin’ to keep Mr. Postie happy this holiday season, and we all know that flat easy to mail cards help keep the postage costs to a painful minimum.  Don’t you long for the days that minimum postage costs was actually possible?   Despite the ever increasing charge to mail a little “folded hug,”  isn’t it fun to send?  Yes, they are fun to receive as well aren’t they?    I just love creating them!

So this card literally takes less than 5-minutes to create.  I first embossed the larger poinsettia image from Vintage Christmas onto a piece of white cardstock using VersaMark and Ranger gold embossing powder as well as the sentiment.  I used (you guessed it) my SU! ink pads and AquaPainter to color in the flowers/leaves.  While that way drying I cut a piece of Brushed Gold cardstock; which measures 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ and mounted it onto a piece of folded Red cardstock that measures the standard 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″.  Voilà!

Thank you for stopping by today.  Your visits are always much appreciated.  Tomorrow is the last of my current Christmas card projects that I will be sharing with you until more season appropriate. ;c)  Hope you have a bit of creative fun this week. xx

Handmade Card: My Wonderful Friend…

This is a handmade card that I created using a  another awesome stamp to share with you today from IBFS.  My card is using the gorgeous Rose Arbor stamp from the Scenic and People stamp set.

I am really enjoying playing with each of the stamps from this set.  That’s not all…I have a whole stack of cards ready to share with you from IBFS!  Would you believe I’ve even been working on Christmas cards?  I have a new release set that I just can’t wait to share with you!  If you make a lot of Christmas cards to send out like I do, now’s the time to think about ordering yours for this year, but that’s another post all together. :c)  So excited about the new sets that are about to be released!  Oh, and wait until you see the new IBFS website and all of the new products I Brake for Stamps has added.  I’ll let you know when their new website goes live.   Think awesome stamps and lots of Tim Holtz inks and dies at great prices!  Can you tell I’m excited?!?  I truly am.  Also, one final bit of excitement I wanted to share is for those of you who have been asking me about where to purchase Scor-Tape;  the super sticky superior strong adhesive to red-liner tape  (IMHO).   I’ve just discovered that I Brake for Stamps now stocks it!  I just ordered 6 rolls because I LOVE the stuff so much!

Okay, now that I sound like a kid in a candy store I’m going to move on to the card that I have for you today;  in all of it’s feminine glory with lots of sparkly Glimmer Mist, lace, and flowers.  This stamp didn’t need much help from me as it is truly lovely and easy to color in.  I just used my SU! stamp pads and my aqua painter.  The patterned paper is from K&Co. Classic McKenna, and the banner is from my Tattered Angels set – easy peasy!

Here’s a closer look…

If you’re like me, who just had to order this set, please feel free to save 10% off of your entire order by using my discount.  Just type in the code: SAVE10ROBYN when you go to the “check-out” page.  It makes it even more fun when you can save doesn’t it?!?  I know it does for me.  Also, just a reminder that they have fast international shipping as well; I can say first-hand  just how fast!

I hope you enjoy your day today!  Thanks so much for stopping by, I truly appreciate it very much, and thank you for all of your sweet comments. (((Hugs)))

Chipboard wall decor…

This is a chipboard wall hanging that I created using the chipboard die cuts that came with the K&Co. chipboard album for this month. I’ve added Basic Grey papers from the Green at Heart collection.

Last Friday, you may recall that I mentioned that I had a project to share using the chipboard pieces that originally came with the “School Daze” album that I made from the K&Co. album.  The chipboard album came in the September kit that I created for my youngest daughter.   I didn’t want to use the chipboard pieces that came with it in her album., so I made a little wall hanging for my eldest daughter.  It was kind of awkward to photograph because of the length of it, so I also did some close up photos for you to have a better idea of what I did with them.

I covered each of the pieces with the patterned paper from the kit, added eyelets and jump rings, and these lovely connectors that I picked up while we were in the States this past summer.   The little gold confetti stars came in the kit as well.  I added some of them behind the large “dew drop” and also added some to the “K” after I melted UTEE onto it.

The scalloped frame above that I painted and crackled did not come in the kit, it came from my stash.

My daughter really likes it; which makes me happy.  She took it in her room and hung it right up – that’s a good sign, I think, coming from a 15-year old. :c)  lol

It’s been a busy, busy week:  our first week of school has been wonderful but we’re all excited about the weekend.  Thanks for stopping by today, I truly appreciate it.  xx

Mini Album: School Daze…

Using a raw chipboard journal, I’ve created this school journal. I painted and crackled the chipboard and used Basic Grey papers throughout.

Happy Friday – the last Friday before my kiddos start school – ahhhhh!  I’m not ready for this!!!!! (Just joking)  Well, my baby is going into 6th grade this year (as hard to believe as that is for me) it is happening none the less.  So, to celebrate her official milestone as a tweenager, I made this little journal/memory book for her.  I hope to have a video posted explaining things, but since I’m scheduling this post before we leave for London and don’t know what my internet will be like at our hotel, I’m not sure when I will get it uploaded.  It’s pretty self-explainatory though by the page titles.  Just a little something for her to keep and to look back on later.  Hope you enjoy seeing it.

This was creating using the K&Co. Raw Chipboard book that was included in the September kit. All papers and Basic Grey die cuts are from the kit.
Thanks for stopping by to visit me, I hope you’ve found some inspiration here.  I always appreciate your visits and wish you a wonderful weekend.  (((Hugs)))
