Hang in There Freddie…
Hello there Lovelies,

Do you know how some days you just feel like you’re hanging out there on a limb all by yourself? Maybe you’ve not experienced that feeling, but throughout life at some point, I think we all face days like that. Lately, a friend of mine has been feeling like that after going through a pretty tough time. This card is for her.
I created it using an I Brake for Stamps new release called Freddie Frog. You can find it and the rest of the adorable images on this sheet HERE. Birthday Gifts…
Hello Lovely Ladies (and Gents),I have a couple of projects to share with you today. My daughter, Suzanne, who is our youngest had a birthday party to go to this past weekend. She wanted to make her friend a handmade gift, so we opted for a very basic mini album, an altered wall hanging from Hobby Lobby and of course a card.
This is what we came up with:
First the card…
This is one of the cutie-patootie stamps from the new release set called Sarah’s Girls from I Brake for Stamps. I really, really enjoy using these for sorts of cards this month! They are easy to color and are also perfect for paper piecing. If you would like to order one for yourself, the link is above and if you’d like to save 10% off of your whole order, please feel free to use my discount (SAVE10ROBYN) at checkout. :c) The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts (where else!?!) :c)
Here is a little mini album (very basic as the little girl “we” made it for just turned 11 and has not scrapped before.

On the mini album above, I used the scalloped square Sizzix Bigz die to create the base of the pages and used the same paper from Hobby Lobby for decorating the album that I used for her card (above).

Lastly, we came across this wall hanging at Hobby Lobby (in the clearance section) and my daughter wanted to get it for her friend. With a little touching up (with Wild Orchid Crafts flowers) it made a nice little gift. It measures 7″ x 7″. I added a few Prima Say it in Pearls to the corner to finish it off. Super fast and my daughter was really happy to give it to her friend.
I hope you enjoy seeing them. Thanks for stopping by today. You make my day brighter when you do. :c)
Handmade Card: ‘So Thankful’
This is a handmade card that I’ve created using soft, Autumn colors, and it’s hopefully nearing it’s destination as I type. I kept it pretty flat so it would mail easily. Of course, it’s using my favorite Fall half Sheet once again.
This is such a great as well as versatile stamp set from I Brake for Stamps.

It goes along with the following challenges:
Stamp Something – Something with Thanks
Sentimental Sundays – Challenge #30 Be Thankful
I hope you’re having a great day too! Thanks for stopping by, I always appreciate it. xx

Handmade Card: Thanksgiving
As I sit here, I can hardly believe that it’s less than a week until Thanksgiving! I still need to buy my turkey! lol It is one of our family’s favorite holidays! I have a couple of cards that I’ve yet to show you that I created for friends and family. Today’s card, once again, uses my new favorite seasonal stamp set. Can you guess? Yes, its the Fall half sheet from I Brake for Stamps. I’ve so enjoyed using it this Autumn!

The card base is SU! Always Artichoke, then a Kraft layer. The patterned papers I’ve used were sent to me by my friend Donna (thank you again) for my birthday from a Papermania collection. Such nice Fall colors in it. I love the focal point as the adorable larger-sized pumpkin from the Fall Half Sheet I’ve just colored it super simple. The dew drops were sent to me by my friend Claudia (thank you sweetie). I sewn the ribbon down the center; ruffling it along the way. The shape layers were cut using my Labels #1 Nesties.
I needed to keep it pretty flat so that it would keep my postie happy. Hopefully it clears US customs and makes it to where it needs to be in time for Thanksgiving. :c)

Oh Bountiful Season
The sun is shining! It’s a lovely but cold Tuesday, and I have a new card to share with you today using some of my favorite products. :c) This card just makes me smile! I love the adorable little not-so-scary scarecrow from IBFS, and the warm Autumn colors!

It measures 6″ x 6″ and has loads of layers. The gorgeous flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts (small flat Gardenias , cherry blossoms, roses) The card base is SU! Always Artichoke, followed by a layer of Sahara Sand. Next, I’ve added several layers of Tim Coffey papers; Full card layer and 3 layers along the left side; which I’ve stitched together. The grid paper is SU! I cut the image and the layer behind it using my Nestabilities Labels#2 dies.

He is just too adorable to me! I love his happy, little face! This is the scarecrow from the I Brake for Stamps – Fall Half Sheet. I’ve used this set SO much and just love it. I’ve been wanting to paper-piece him, so yesterday I did just that. The papers are from SU! Hostess Level 1 pads (retired).

Fall-Half Sheet from I Brake for Stamps
Here’s a closer look at the lovely flowers, and the stitched ribbon. The banner is from a TA set and I’ve just paired it up with the sentiment from IBFS: It was a perfect fit! You can see a tiny bit of the Stitckles that I’ve added to the pumpkins in the photo.
Victorian Skaters
For today’s card, I have a gorgeous stamp called Victorian Skaters from I Brake for Stamps. I colored it in with my reinkers and my aqua painter. It doesn’t really show up in the photo, but to the snow, I’ve added Dazzling Diamonds to make it sparkle and shine. The pretty organza ribbon bow was tied using my Bow-Easy tool. Also, I’ve used some beautiful roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. The patterned papers are last years Graphic 45 Christmas Past collection.
