Password Journal

Hi Everyone, hope your weekend is off to a fabulous start.   I’ve been busily creating these handy little password journals; 7 different ones actually.  They measure 3 3/4″ x 2 1/4″ and fit nicely into a shirt pocket, handbag  or small desk space.  Now, you would want to use discretion with these when storing sensitive passwords depending on your circumstances but they work great for all of the groups, sites and blogs that we seem to find ourselves needing to recall log-in information for.  Great for the kiddos, too!  You can find them all HERE (sold without the charm).
Here is the first one that I came up with…

I’ve used an Articus Studio mold called Key to My Heart, Large to create the heart-shaped lock and key.  I added my Creative Paperclay into the mold and left it to dry overnight.  I then painted the lock and key using pink acrylic paint and then dry brushed on some vintage white acrylic paint.  Finally, I rubbed on gold some Rub ‘n Buff.

This is what the inside pages look like.  I just typed it up on my computer using Microsoft Word.

I’ve used my Bind-it-all to create the book binding.

The label for the front were also created on my computer.  I then used a die to cut out the label.

Here is the inside of the assembled book…

This is a fun, quick project and make great little gifts.  Hope you give them a try.  You can see more Creative Paperclay project ideas on the blog here.

This is the mold that I used to create my Creative Paperclay lock and key charms.
Thanks for stopping by today!  If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.  I’m always happy to be of help.
Happy Creating! xx

Love Cast in Clay Blog Hop

Hello Everyone and a very warm welcome to the Creative Paperclay/Amazing Mold Putty Blog Hop!  My name is Robyn and I’m a design team member for Creative Paperclay.  You should have arrived here from #10; which is Aimee’s blog.  (You can see the hop list in my right sidebar).  I’m really excited to share with you what I’ve come up with for our “Love Cast in Clay” theme.  Since it’s nearing Valentine’s Day, I couldn’t help but think of the Love-of-my-life, my wonderful husband.  So, I decided to create a couple of embellishments using a mold created from Amazing Mold Putty and Creative Paperclay to add to a frame that I wanted to alter.  We had a picture taken of the two of us back in November and I wanted to put one on my bedside table.

Here is what I came up with… (the frame measures 5″ x 7″)

Christmas Embellishments…

Happy Veteran’s Day and a huge thank you to those who have given a part of their lives to protect our freedoms and serve in the military.   We owe an unfathomable debt of gratitude for the sacrifices these brave men and women have made, some have even made the ultimate sacrifice.  Words cannot adequately express how that makes me feel for a mere, “Thank you” simply is not enough.  Please know that our family appreciates you SO very, very much.  You are, and will always be, our heros!
For my project today, I’d like to share some Christmas embellishments that are quick, (we love that during the busy holiday season, don’t we?) fun, and great for any age group to create. I’ve been making sweet little ornaments that you can add to your tree or give as gifts but I’ve also created some without a hanger that I can add to my Christmas cards and scrapbook pages.  All made using Creative Paperclay; which is an air dry, light-weight clay that is great for all age groups.

You will need:
Creative Paperclay
Cookie cutters (any size you’d like your Embellishments/Decorations to be)
Paints, glitter, gems or any thing you would like to add to your ornaments/embellishments
Paint Brush
Wax or parchment paper
Here’s a video to share what I’ve created and how:

These are super simple and SO much fun to create! Make it a family craft night and involve everyone! :) Have fun and thanks so much for stopping by today!  For more ideas, please feel free to check out the blog to see what the other DT members have shared.
