12 Tags of Christmas: 5

I’m playing along with Tim Holtz’s 12 tags of Christmas 2010.  This is day #5.

It’s a great Sunday and to top it off, the sun is shining;  that always seems to bring a bit more cheer around my neck-of-the-woods.  I’m back today with a quick tag from Tim’s Day 5 of his 12 Tags of Christmas for 2010.

Tim Holtz 12 Tags of Christmas

I was so glad when I checked Tim’s post early this morning that this one was another “quickie” tag, as I never have a lot of time for crafting on Sundays.   So if I have any creating time at all between church it has to be on-the-move.  (Thanks Tim!)   Once again, I’ve made a fair amount of substitutions in product that he used to create my tag.  The santa, in keeping with Tim’s theme, is from an I Brake for Stamps set called Vintage Christmas. (You can save 10% ordering this using my discount code SAVE10ROBYN).   I did a bit of coloring to give him  a little “pop” and added white fine glitter to his cuff and hat along with a bit of bling for the holly berries on his hat.  The other holly berries around the top of the tag are from a CTMH set.  I stamped them in black and then added green and red glitter using heat n stick powder.  The sentiment at the bottom is from a Papermania stamp set.

The poinsettia flower came from Wild Orchid Crafts, this is the small size of the two they stock.  I really like them.

Here is Tim’s  day 5 tag: :c)

So, I’m wondering if you all are getting tired of seeing just tags when you pop on to visit me?  I’m having fun playing along, but I’m ready for something pretty.  Hopefully I’ll have a bit of time this evening to see what I can come up with. Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I always appreciate it.  xx

I’d never get tired of seeing anything that you do. And don’t tell Tim, but I liked this tag better than his.
