12 Tags of Christmas…Day 12

I’ve been playing along with Tim Holt’z 12 tags of Christmas.  Can’t believe today is the final day.  It’s been great fun to create all of the tags each day.  Today was a bit of a challenge for me time wise.  You’ll see what I mean when you scroll down.    We’re now officially less than a fortnight until Christmas.  Still loads of things to do, but I’m enjoying it all!  I love Christmas!

Okay, so this tag was lightening fast speed.  It is now 11:05 p.m., so I caught this one on just a whisper.  I set my timer and went to work…

Day 12 Tag

I just reached and grabbed in a mad-dash against the clock to create this one.  I figured if I didn’t have time, I might as well have a bit of fun and not stress it.  This is what I came up with.  Not the techniques Tim shared, but that will have to be another day.

12 Tags Christmas-12

The poinsettia came from my favorite amazing mulberry paper flower stockist, Wild Orchid Crafts.  The rest came from my stash.  The chipboard sticker came from Poundland last Christmas and the glittery decoration under the poinsettia came from ASDA for a mere .15 pence.  My hubby really thinks the little snowman in the corner is too funny; his silly little grin I suppose. :c)

Okay, so I called it done, hit the stop button, and here’s the result…

Phewwww!  I need a Diet Coke!

Once again, I’m linking up  to The Artistic Stamper and Arty Jen and would like to say a big thank you to both for having a place to post the tags I’ve worked on  as well as see everyone else’s amazing work, and for those of you who have visited me and left such nice comments.  I’ve really appreciated each one.

Hope you’re having a great weekend.  Thanks for visiting me today; I truly appreciate you as well!

A hugs, “Thank you!” to Tim, for sharing his talent and inspiration.  I have really enjoyed following his blog each day.

Here is the man himself’s tag for today…

Hi, I followed your link from SCS to find your site, and your wonderful work on the 12 Tags of Christmas. My, what a wonderful job you have done on your improvising and raiding your stash for “like-type-items”. Several of your tags, I think I like better than Tim’s. Whoops, better watch my mouth…I’m still hoping to win something in the last prize giveaway. lol
Again, great work, and thank you for sharing.
