Handmade Card: Vintage Santa Christmas

Handmade Vintage Christmas cards galore!  Lots of samples over the next couple of days.  Some are using the Big Shot, some are more 3-dimensional than others, but all are using the gorgeous Vintage Christmas stamp sheet.

Here we are on day 3 of a “Vintage Christmas” and once again, I’ve implemented a lot of the same techniques for coloring in this little Santa stamp with first embossing and then coloring  with my ink pads.  The first Santa card was the larger of the two images.   I’ve given his hat a little bling and sparkle once again.  This time, he has a list; which I’ve gold embossed onto velum and wound around in a scroll-type fashion.  He is mounted onto a Top Note shape that I stamped the poinsettia stamp onto using VersaMark ink.  The poinsettia embossing folder is from Stampin’ Up! and I’ve just colored it up a bit with my gold dabber and painted the berries in a bit red ink.

I still have 2 days worth of posts using this set which is available through I Brake for Stamps as a new release.  You now have the option to order this set as unmounted red rubber or cut and fully mounted onto EZMount and shipped on a mounting board for easy storage.  You’ll see the price reflected on the website with these two choices.  Don’t forget to use my discount (SAVE10ROBYN)  if you decide you’d like to purchase it as you can save an additional 10% off by doing so.

That’s it from me today.  It’s a gray day here in Ireland; which is quite a change from the sunny Sunday we enjoyed. See you again tomorrow with another Christmastime preparation card.  This one will be an easy mailer that can be quickly mass-produced if you are making a lot.  More on that tomorrow though. :-)

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope you have a wonderful rest of the day! xx

Another lovely card Robyn! I really like the vellum list and the scroll effect! I’ve never seen such a pretty list! Maybe I should start doing that with all my grocery lists…that would certainly make them more exciting, wouldn’t it?
