Gorgeous Handmade Birthday Card

Pennant banners are such a hot item in paper crafting right now. I created this birthday card for my sweet daughter using Webster’s Pages Papers, flowers, pearls, and lace.

Hello lovelies,

I have another card to share with you today.  We leave in a few hours for our last hoo-rah vacation before school starts a week from today.  We found airplane tickets for just $10 each from Ireland to London, so couldn’t pass it up.   We’re flying out for the week  and when we come back, Saturday will be filled with anniversary events as my sweetie and I celebrate 18 years of marital bliss.♥  Then, on Sunday, our eldest daughter Kendalle turns 15.  We’ll have a little party for her after church.

Anyway, all of that to say that I really wanted to get her card done before we left.  So it’s been a busy day already with packing, getting the dogs to the kennel, making sure the house is all clean before we go, meals, and getting my projects for the week ready to post.  I’m super excited though so have lots of energy. :c)

I made her a card with some of my Webster’s Pages papers (I ♥ them).  Banners/Buntings seem to be my favorite lately as they keep appearing in my projects, but I think they add a sweet touch to just about anything.  Hope you enjoy seeing it, but shhhhh don’t tell Kendalle it’s on my blog as of course she hasn’t seen it yet.  Since we’ll be away, I know she won’t be online all week.

I’ve been taking my project photos out on our deck/front porch lately as the weather has been clear/dry.  Usually I just lay the card down, but I thought it was nice to have the mountains in the background today.

I hope you have  a wonderful, fantabulous week.  Know that I truly appreciate you stopping by and your comments always add excitement to my day.  Thank you so much for your kindness.  Must run, I just remembered that I forgot to pack my umbrella…

XOXOXOX

Did I read that right $10.00? No that can’t be right, more like a few hundred.

Your card is just beautiful as always.
Enjoy your trip. Sounds like heaven.
